Joy Hankins of The Joy of Curls didn’t always know what to do with her natural hair. That journey helped inspire Hankins to create The Joy of Curls - an all-natural hair care brand for people with textured hair.

Products from The Joy of Curls can be purchased online, or at farmer’s markets in Des Moines during the warmer months. Hankins credits the Evelyn K. Davis Center at Des Moines Area Community College with helping find her way as a CEO.
