You can go anywhere in the world, and someone will know where Compton is. In collaboration with non-profit Color Compton, the Compton Art and History Museum was developed to preserve the history and culture of the city.

Co-Founder Marquell Byrd says that people have been pleasantly surprised to learn about the Compton Art and History Museum and its mission. He also says the community had a big part in the museum's development.
